Installing impact methods

Post by sofiapo » 10 Jan 2017 11:05

Hi all!

I am a new user of Open LCA and I would like to install the impact assessment methods. I found a zip file in the downloads section but I can not run it with open LCA. Shouldnt it be a zolca file?

Is this the correct file to download?
"Database for openLCA 1.4 and 1.5(zolca file, 19 MB)" with normalisation and weighting factors. Last update: March 22nd, 2016.

Thank you in advance for your help

Kind regards,
Sofia

Hi Sofia,
Welcome!
The impact method files in the download section are compressed openLCA databases, in zolca format, therefore you import them into openLCA as openLCA database (or you create a new database with only these impact methods).

Andreas
