Does openLCA 1.4 (beta) need a MySQL connection?

I am new to openLCA and have been using openLCA 1.3.3 for two months. Today I downloaded and installed openLCA 1.4 (beta). I know that openLCA 1.3.3 requires a MySQL connection, however I don't see a an option to create a new MySQL connection with openLCA 1.4 (beta).

Thanks!

Hi, the beta 1 version of openLCA is only available with an integrated database. The MySQL 'option ' will also be available though later. We added the new integrated database option since many users will not need the MySQL client/server configuration and it is easier to install openLCA especially in a business environment if you do not need to install and manage also the MySQL server.
Working with the database in the integrated version is easier than with the client/server version, details are maybe self-explanatory but are also explained in the 1.4 tester documents, here: http://www.openlca.org/c/document_libra ... upId=29861.
