nexus openlca web site

Hi everybody,
I'm just trying to download ECDL database from the site http://www.nexus.openlca.org
I belive it is not working because I can't surf and it gives me back error messages.
Is it a problem of the website?

Dear Germana,
no the site should be ok. What do you mean, you cannot surf it? There is a security certificate to ensure an encrypted transfer of user data but that should not cause errors. You could also try without the "www" but this should not give a different result.

Hi!
Please look at the screenshot! Doesn't it seem to be strange?
When I click on the buttons to open other pages it gives me the error message (in italian of course :P).
Is ita problem of my pc?

Thanks Germana for sending the screenshot (by mail) - I see, this is related to Internet Explorer 8 and some specific settings therein that prevent “him” to understand some parts of the ssl and of java script; we are currently exploring this and will come back to you. I assume you cannot change to a more recent web browser?

unfortunately IE8 is my company official browser, I cant change it.
I hope there is an emergency door!
