Hallo Everybody,
how can be linked the parameter value to the differnet input or output values? (I´ve used GaBi till now, and there it was really symple, but in openLCA don´t find neighter in dokumetation nor with browsing the functions)
Many Thanks for the answer!
Kind Regards

Re: Parameter and its functions
Hi Simon,
in openLCA, you specify parameters on the parameters page, e.g. for a process, and can use the so defined parameters then, for a process, on the input/output sheet. This means that you cannot cross-reference from input to output, e.g., for modeling non-linear relations. However, what you can do is define a parameter that influences both input and output, and can enter values for this parameter, which has often the same effect as when you have a direct non-linear relation between input and output.
Otherwise, I'd be interested if you could post an example where this approach does not work.
Best wishes,
Andreas

Re: Parameter and its functions
Hallo Andreas,
I could not good explain my problem. It is only a basic problem: how could connect the parameter to an input or output value which will be ruled by this parameter. I can tell an example from GaBi. In GaBi in the input/output table are given an extra column where the name of parameters can be inserted so the flow value will be ruled by the inserted parameter. But in openLCA I donot find the how can set this connection between parameters and I/O flows. I hope this explanation is OK English does not belong to my strenghts :)
Sincerely
Bálint

Re: Parameter and its functions
Hallo Andreas,
the solution have been found :). One of the co-researcher of the Istitute has explained me (She use openLCA since longer time). (sound really easy: only insert the name of parameter in the value filed of flow instead of absolute value) 1000 Thanks!
Sincerely
Bálint

Ah OK - thanks Bálint, good that this is solved!
