Hi,
I am not sure whether I understand openLCA correctly but what is the difference if I
- create a system excluding the "process and system processes" (A)
- create a system including the "process and system processes" (B)

Only in case A and only if connect upstream process via "search providers for..." I get reasonable lcia results. If I connect to the upstream process via "Build supply chain..." I get the same strange results as via alternative B. Why? Thank you.

Hello Wolfram,
well if the database is consistent then you get the same results in both cases. What did you use as a database? In A, you start with a process and can connect other processes manually, in B, the connection is done with information about links in the database.

Andreas
