Deleting unused reference flow
Deleting unused reference flow
Hello,
I am wondering how I would delete a reference flow that is no longer used? For example, I create a process with a new reference flow, but I decide that the process is not relevant anymore. However, the reference flow is still available to enter as I/O in other processes. How do I prevent this from happening?
Cheers,

Hi, well you can delete the flow if you think it should not be used any more? After you have deleted the process?

Re: Deleting unused reference flow
Is there a folder under flows that the new reference flows get saved by default?
Re: Deleting unused reference flow
No there is not. Being a reference flow is just an optional attribute. If you have created the flow with the process, it has by default the same name, and is created in the top folder of flows.
Re: Deleting unused reference flow
Hi Andreas,
As a test I tried creating a new process in an empty database. I saw that the "Flows" folder created a triangle so that the folder can expand. But, when I tried to open the flow folder, the triangle disappeared and the newly created reference flow was nowhere to be found.

Re: Deleting unused reference flow
Very interesting! I tried it on a Macbook and I was not seeing the reference flow. I am on my Windows computer and I can indeed see the reference flow too. I will post a screenshot soon.
Re: Deleting unused reference flow
Hi Andreas, please see the screenshot from my Mac. As you can see the reference flow cannot be found, and the Flows folder cannot expand
