fatal error location manager (Linux)

Post by atjack » 07 Jan 2015 19:16

I receive the following message in my terminal when I try to use the map editor of a process or location results of LCIA. Also openLCA closes. This error occurs with different databases and processes. I'm running a 64bit lubuntu.

code]#

# The crash happened outside the Java Virtual Machine in native code.

#[/code]

Is there a solution for this?

Hi Justus,
under Linux, these features which are using web browser capabilites work a bit different than in Windows and Mac - did you check "use browser features" in the configuration settings?
Thanks,
Andreas

Hey,
"Use Browser Features" is enabled. (The version of Mozilla is 34.0.) But I still get the same error message.

Ah thanks - can you please uncheck Mozilla, which was an experimental feature in 1.4., or even better, can you please use the latest version 1.4.1. beta 7?

Hey,
I uncheck Mozilla, still the same problem. And when I using the latest version the problem is still there.

I can reproduce this error. This occurs in the native Linux 64bit libraries that are not under our control. I did not yet found which method call produces this error. To track this, I created an issue on our issue tracker at Github:https://github.com/GreenDelta/olca-app/issues/4
