1. If I'm creating an elementary flow, i don't know what I can do with it. I can't define a process for this flow, which means that the "value" of this flow is zero. What's the intention of the possibility of creating an elementary flow?
2. Is it possible to re-model a flow (e.g. from ökobaudat or something else), when I have all the inputs and outputs or rather the data from the LCIA method CML?
Thank you very much for your support!
Creating flows and processes
Re: Creating flows and processes
I am not sure if I understand -
1. an LCA model consists of a network of processes; each process has input and output flows; 'technosphere' or product flows are exchanged between processes, elementary flows are inputs from or outputs to nature (as defined in ISO). If you want to model a new emission for example, you may need a new elementary flow that is not already in the openLCA reference flows. You can then create a new LCIA method to also consider this flow, or just look at the inventory.
2. I don't understand. 'Remodel a flow'?
