Impact categories

Good morning,
I am currently working on an LCA of a building, with openLCA 1.4.2, the ELCD database and the openLCA LCIA methods.
I have created my product system with all the steps, but since not all the materials are in the database, i have been trying to add the missing materials' carbon dioxide emissions as output flows, but when it comes to do the calculations, only the emissions coming from processes/flows in the database are taken in account (e.g electricity mix, gypsum plasterboard, diesel consume...).
My question is, is there any way to make them be taken in account in the impact categories calculations?
I have tried many different things but none of them has worked, maybe i am missing something, or it just can not be done.
My apologies if it sounds like a stupid question.
Thank you,
Aitor
