Hi OpenLCA fellas:
I am currently doing a project on partial LCA for a certain natural dye. However, the data that I need is very specific, so I wondered is there any way to create your own database and import it to the program?
Or any other suggestions?
Cheryl
How can you create & import your own database?
Re: How can you create & import your own database?
Hi Cheryl,
not sure I fully understand your question, you can of course create any new process in openLCA, also with sensitive data. If you want to exchange this sensitive information (this was your question?) or any other content of openLCA that you have created, you best export the entire database, and you can import this database into another openLCA installation. If you are using any generic databases, then you need to observe the licences and potentially also the Nexus generic licence.
Does this answer your point?
