Cost

When I try to add a process cost, and create a new Cost category, that category does not get added to the Flows list, so it appears to be impossible to create a correponding LCIA method to do life cycle costing.

Hi, indeed, these are process costs that are not bound to specific flows and therefore not meat to be taken up by an LCIA method; you can still create and add cost flows that are then flow-specific and can be considered in impact assessment methods.
Best wishes,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
It is possible to add the flow-specific cost flows in the Cost tab (because I didn't not see how this is possible with openLCA 1.4 beta 3), or are you suggesting that economic flows need to be created in the Input/Output tab?
Thanks, Wes
