Linux version

Post by qwweeeit » 06 Aug 2010 10:27

Hi,
I would like to test the 1.2 version, but I use linux as OS.
Is it possible to download the linux version for testing the software?
Are the sources for the 1.2 version available?
When could a stable version of the software be ready?

Thanks a lot,
marco

Hi marco,
currently there is only a windows version for the test. A Linux version will follow - please understand that we limit the test versions at present. If all goes well, the release will happen in August (this year..).
Cheers, Andreas

Hi,
I'm writing to ask you an update about the openlca status, I mean the 1.2 version.
I followed your efforts about the Database Registry and the format converter, but now I would know if the development of openlca has stopped or the works are carrying on.
In this case, when can we have the final version?
Also if the Linux version is not ready, can you share the Windows one (but at least with the sources)?

Waiting a your feedback, I send you my best regards
Marco

..you are right. We are currently a bit busy with implementing the earthster client but will have more time in the next two weeks and try to finalise the release then, including versions for Linux and Mac.
Best, Andreas

It is great to have such news !
I have been checking the website every 2 weeks or so since august, awaiting for v1.2, and was a bit sad by the lack of updates... Keep on with the great work and let us know soon when we can try the firt non-beta version :-)

Congratulation to the team anyway !
