Recover database

Hello everybody!

I am a student using openLCA with an educational license of ecoinvent.

My openLCA installation (v1.4.1 on Linux) together with an ecoinvent database (ecoinvent3_1_allocation_default_lci, ecoinvent3_1_lcia_methods and some custom flows and processes) broke a couple of days ago.
The startup of openLCA would be interrupted when trying to load the database. So I renamed the openLCA-data-1.4 folder in my home directory which solved the startup issue.
Now, I am struggling to recover my database, as there is no import method for previously not exported databases.

What can I do?

Thank you very much in advance, afraid of having to start my modelling all over again.

Leo

Hi Leo,
It seems you are not using the Nexus files for openLCA but the ones from ecoinvent? It might be possible to recover the database though. If you want, please contact us directly (e.g. me, via email).
Thanks,
Andreas

Hello Andreas!
Impressed with this quick reaction :)
Actually the files were downloaded from the nexus server.
It worked seamlessly for about two months, and I dont 't remember any glitches before that sudden death.

Where do I find your email?

Hello Andreas,

from my understanding I would have to click on your username to get to ther profile. If I do this, the "Contact aciroth" section remains empty.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks again!
