Many thanks Andreas. ''..why a product flow has a certain LCIA impact as a flow property'': Did you mean the EDIP1997 flow properties? I am grateful if you can point out any obvious errors or shortcomings in the ELCD. Attached the mySQL number-of-rows-in-tables-analysis extended to the latest Nexus ELCD version. There still are differences to the original ELCDIII. Regards

Problems with ELCD import
Re: Problems with ELCD import
Hi Ludwig,
ah that is true - the ELCD database on nexus contains only those information that is used in or referred to by the process data sets, all other information is omitted. There are also some obviously misleading classifications in the original, full (albeit corrected) database, e.g. for actors: PE international is a person, as well as the European Container Glass Organisation; ifeu is a non-governmental organisation but also a private company (as is PE INTERNATIONAL).
If you are interested in the full (corrected) ELCDIII database for openLCA, let me please know.
All the best,
Andreas

Re: Problems with ELCD import
I see. I downloaded the ELCDIII again recently and there seem to be minor changes all the time.
Many thanks
