regionalized impact assesment methods - any official (or psuedo-official) sets available?

Post by andrewh » 06 Jan 2018 00:09

Hi all:
I know that spatially differentiated characterization factors are still a relatively new development (ReCiPe 2016, e.g, is recently out, Impact World+ is not yet). Just wanted to
a) confirm that the current nexus LCIA set, "openLCA LCIA methods v.1.5.7" does not have any spatially-differentiated factors.
b) ask if there is yet a set of spatially-differentiated CFs available as a zolca file anywhere (either from openLCA or perhaps available from a user)?

Thanks very much,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
indeed I can confirm this. For the regionalised factors, we will soon make AWARE available, and plan to extend this to other methods. I hope (AWARE) still in January.
Best wishes,
Andreas
