Monte Carlo analysis stopped
Dear OpenLCA community, after 10 days of Monte Carlo analysis (4100 iterations out of 5000), OpenLCA suddenly disappeared from the screen. The Windows task manager still shows openLCA.exe as running and using CPU and RAM, but OpenLCA disappeared. Has anyone encountered this issue? Best regards, Romain

Re: Import and export processes using JSON format
Hello Andreas, you were right. The processes I tried to import were already existing in the target database. They were already existing in the sense that they had identical UUIDs, but the processes were different (I have two version of a same process, consequential and attributional). The trick was ...

Re: Ecoinvent 3.1 to 3.2
To answer my own post, I chose to start anew, creating a new database with EcoInvent 3.2 on it. I found out that the most convenient way to export my project to this new database was to use the ILCD format, since it is, in my experience, the only one that conserves properly the parameters (even glob...

Characterizing product flows, not only substances
Dear OpenLCA community, a quick question: I would like to build my own EN 15804 impact characterization model. I started by copying a version of the CML model, and added supplementary categories such as "use of fossil and renewable energies", "fresh water", etc. But I got to realize that the impact ...

Ecoinvent 3.1 to 3.2
Hello,
is there a way to migrate from EcoInvent 3.1 to 3.2 without loosing the global parameters? Or is it safer to import 3.2 inside 3.1?
What is the safest way to upgrade?
Best regards and happy new year,
Romain

Grouping file from a database to another
Hello,
is it possible to transfer a saved grouping file, or split, to another database?
I have made a specific split saved as a grouping file to analyze my end-results, and I wold like to reuse in another database without having to rebuild it.
Best regards,
Romain

Import and export processes using JSON format
Hello, I have tried to export a group of processes in a JSON format from one EcoInvent database, to import it back in another Ecoinvent database (both databases being used on the same OpenLCA instance). The import process does not return any errors, but yet, the processes fail to appear. Has anyone ...

Re: Excel export and contribution tree
Hello Alexy, indeed. It is a problem I faced too. It is also worth noting that copy-pasting data from the contribution tree will reproduce data in a text format. Hence, to properly copy it on an Excel spreadsheet, you need to "special-paste" as tab-separated text information, paying attention to the...

Global parameters fail to delete
Hello OpenLCA community, I would just like to report problems when deleting parameters in the Global Parameters matrix. I delete them, I save the list, I close it, and when I open back the Global Parameters list, my previously deleted parameters are back again. The only thing I can do to disable the...
