Corrected Impact2002+ - details on corrections please?

Hi, The Impact2002+ method, imported from ecoinvent, has been modified. The comment is "Characterisation factors of flows Antimony-122, Antimony-124, Antimony-125, Barium-140, Cobalt-57, Cobalt-60, Lead-210 and Zinc-65 were corrected in some impact categories. Both original ecoinvent 3.1. implementa...

Re: normalisation and weightings nexus pack impact method

Hi, Perhaps this was already clear to everyone, but yes, the results expressed in "points" were normalized (before importation in openLCA, this is more a matter of how ecoinvent distributes CFs, not an openLCA issue. If you would like a file to convert results back to un-normalized endpoints or midp...

Re: Characterization in OpenLCA

Hi, I've put together an Excel file that will convert the normalized endpoint results that are given in openLCA (in points) to endpoint results in "native" units (DALY, PDF*m2*yr, kg CO2e and MJ primary) and in midpoint units as well. You just need to copy-paste the results from the "LCIA results" t...

Re: Meaning of cut-off when creating product systems

Hi Michael, Wonderful, thanks for the reply. I definitely understand how it would work in a straightforward fashion on databases built on input-output tables. I don't see how an approach based on the magnitude of linked inputs would work on mixed unit databases (such as ecoinvent), but it sounds lik...

Location of the database folder

Hi,

In a Windows install, the default the database directory is created in the local user profile. Is it possible to move that database to another folder on the C drive?

Thanks

Re: ecoinvent v3 - multiple instances of same flows

Hi Andreas, Great to hear that you are planning on making changes. Just to clarify, the product UUID are actually all the same, but the associated activity UUID are different. For example, "electricity, high voltage" (UUID 66c93e71-f32b-4591-901c-55395db5c132) is associated with 1164 activities that...

Re: Meaning of cut-off when creating product systems

Hi - just wanted to bring this up again. Does anyone know where the full definition of "cut-off" in this context is?
Thanks,
Pascal
