Re: Silent / Unattended Install ?
Meanwhile, we have tried a bit around your suggestion of a silent install, and it does work, using flags /D (for the directory) and /S (for silent): openlca-<version>-win-<arch>bit.exe /S /D=C:\Program Files\openLCA Where "openlca-<version>-win-<arch>bit.exe" needs to be adapted to your specific ope...

Re: The folder /usr/share/openLCA is not a MySQL application
Hello, Luis, do you want to install the sources or "only" the application? Because for the latter, the installation is quite straightforward, you mainly need to execute the install procedure and select folders; on Mac and Linux, you need to install MySQL separately, for Windows, this is done during ...

Re: Silent / Unattended Install ?
Good morning Marlusneo, this is an interesting question - we haven't done this yet but it should be possible to enable silent installs without too much effort; openLCA uses an install script which would need to be modified. Main requirement is internet access during the installation since MySQL is d...

Re: Correlations/Dependencies in LCA UQ
Hi Mark,
I am not aware of any attempt - could anyone else help? Interesting thought and question.
Best wishes,
Andreas

Re: Visualization of Flow Values
Dear Jacopo, dear all, That is a good suggestion - maybe not in the graph editor directly (since there, the result is not available yet as it is just created in the graph), but in a result view. There is the sankey diagram of course in the analysis section, but this shows indicator scores rather tha...

Re: Parameters
Dear Jacopo, In order to "influence" the parameter on the product system level, you need to have the same parameter / a parameter with exactly the same name on the product system level. Then, you can specify a value for the parameter on the product system level, and if you then set in preferences th...

Re: Importing LCIA Methods
Hi, sorry I overlooked this post - I would probably argue about the statement The LCA methodology's not well developed yet but this is not the main part of the post - the ecoinvent LCIA methods can be imported into openLCA, they are available from the ecoinvent centre, or also through us, free of ch...

Re: Problems with using non-embedded MySQL server
Hi Wes, interesting - I understand the benefits from using a non-embedded, central server; however, we did not configure and test the present public openLCA version for this. Especially a user rights management system is lacking but can of course be added. You can maybe do this on your own, it shoul...

Re: product flows and emissions category
Hi Carla, I tried it now myself (export from SimaPro in EcoSpold format and reimport to openLCA as EcoSpold1); the import runs through very fast, but processes are not created in openLCA - in short because the EcoSpold format as it is implemented in SimaPro is different from the ecoinvent specificat...
