Re: Installation Basic tutorial
Note that since version 1.4 an installation of Java and MySQL is not required any more on Linux (and Windows). Just download the archive file for Linux from http://www.openlca.org/download_page , extract it, and run the openLCA executable. However, in order to use the high performance calculation pa...

Re: Remote Database Functionality
Hi Michael, The remote database function does not create a new databases on the MySQL server but just stores the connection data to such databases. Thus, you first have to create the MySQL database outside of openLCA with the following database script: https://github.com/GreenDelta/olca-modules/blob...

Re: Time required for importing .zolca databases
Hi Pascal, It should take only seconds when you use the "Import database" option in the navigation menu to import a zolca-file as a new database (right-click on the database tree when no other database is activated, see attachment. Merging databases from zolca-files indeed takes some time (as databa...

Re: Feature request: export global parameter list to text fi
Yes, this is a good point and it will be possible with the next openLCA version (1.4.1). There is now a beta version online with which you can test this new feature: https://sourceforge.net/projects/openlca/files/openlca_framework/1.4.1_beta4/. Ctr-a and Ctr-c should now work for all tables in openL...

Re: 32-bit libjblas library does not load
Dear Matty, Great! Thank you very much for testing it. I created a new package for Linux 64bit: http://build-blas.googlecode.com/files/compiled_openblas_linux_x86_64.tar.gz . Just replace the libjblas.so file as for the 32bit version (also gcc, g++, and gfortran need to be installed). Hope it works ...

Re: 32-bit libjblas library does not load
Dear Matty, Thank you very much! You are right; the native BLAS support seems to be broken in the current version (1.2.9) for Linux. I built a new version of the BLAS package for Linux 32bit which is available from here: http://build-blas.googlecode.com/files/compiled_openblas_linux_i386.tar.gz . Yo...
