Anyone else near Newcastle-upon-Tyne use OpenLCA?

It would just be nice to talk to other people in the real world who use it, as I think I'm the only one here!!!!!!

R 114 (dichlorotetrafluoroethane)

Does anyone know what the name of the flow for this is in OpenLCA? I can't find it, and I've tried as many varients of the chemical's name as I can think of. I need it is at is the major course of ozone depletion in my GaBi models, which I am slowly tranfering over to OpenLCA.

Thank you :)

Re: Location of the database folder

Hello,

Bringing this thread back again :p

I want to set my path to another drive, but when I follow the above instructions but setting the folder as F:\OpenLCA\databases OpenLCA completely ignores me and sticks with the default in C:\

Any idea of a way around this?

Thanks,
Tom

Which version of Ecoinvent are you using? I am having a similar issue which occurs with Ecoinvent 3.1 but not 3.3...

Negative monte carlo results and differing lognormal values within ecoinvent

Hello, I've noticed my Monte Carlo analysis of my models are giving negative results, so I've looked back at the models and found that the input processes are also giving negative results, for example inverter production, 0.5kW, cut-off, U (RER) and electricity production, photovoltaic, 570kWp open ...

Re: Exporting JSON, editing, and then reimporting

Line breaks were just from pasting into the forum, not in my code.

I've found the issue, it's the zipping and unzipping of files, so used 7-zip to edit the files with Notepad++ (but Notepad would work too) whilst keeping the files still zipped.

I'm really enjoying OpenLCA!

Exporting JSON, editing, and then reimporting

Hello, I'm making some new impact categories, and would like to duplicate my list of flow and give them different figures for various climate change indicators (GWP, GTP, different time horizons, climate-carbon-feedbacks, etc). Basically as shown in the below image... http://www.narecde.co.uk/wp-con...

Re: Deviation in the IPCC 2013 LCIA Method

Did you get a reply on this? The unrounded figures used within the methods come from page 8SM-39 of https://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/assessment-report/ar5/wg1/supplementary/WG1AR5_Ch08SM_FINAL.pdf There is a good explanation of the issues with implementing AR5 within Ecoinvent here: http://my.umberto.de/inde...
