How to import openLCA-generated excel files
Hello, As in the subject, I get an error (at least it seems so) when trying to import openLCA-generated excel files. These are simply the files that I have exported from the calculation results of a product system. I do this so that I can import the results and look at them whenever needed, without ...

Re: "Cannot remove exchanges" message
Hi Andreas, No problem. Here is the screenshot of this issue. I personally had only added it once in my crop production process as an input, not adding it anywhere else. I wanted to characterize irrigation for the crop production process, but added the wrong water input. Then I couldn't delete it so...

Re: Contributions in contribution tree do not add up to 100%
No problem Andreas, thanks for the reply. Here are a couple of screenshots with my most extreme examples for "Crop production". First example, adding to about 25% of total: Contr Tree 1.JPG And the most extreme example, just a few % of total: Contr Tree 2.JPG What's going on here? Thanks for your fe...

Re: Choosing between flows types
Hi Nachhaltigkeit, I have come back to the issue you raised a while ago, and have a further question. Thanks for your original post. Inputs: 0,4 kg Pesticide, unspecfied Outputs: 0,3 kg Pesticide A, to agricultural soil 0,1 kg Pesticide B, to agricultural soil You say here basically that the element...

Contributions in contribution tree do not add up to 100%
Hello, I am wondering what it means, when in the contribution tree section looking at impact categories, the % contribution of sub-processes under the main process (at 100%) do not add up to 100%. For example, in my "crop production" main process at 100%, the sub-process below it contribute only 25%...

"Cannot remove exchanges" message
Hello, In creating my process, I had erroneously added an incorrect input flow (tap water), and want to remove it. However I get the message: "Cannot remove exchanges - One or more of the selected exchanges are used already in a product system and therefore cannot be deleted". Because I don't want t...

Re: Product system listed as an impact contributor
Ok, yes I see what you mean. Both my process and my product system are labelled "Crop X production". I did it like this to follow the tutorial video for "Bottle production", where she had named things in the same way. That clears up the naming issue, but still leaves me a bit puzzled how openLCA wor...

Product system listed as an impact contributor
Hello, I have run a calculation and am confused with the results. Looking at human toxicity for example, it lists the main contributors of the impacts in the pie chart. However, along with several impacting chemicals, my product system "crop production" is also included as an impact contributor, and...

Re: Missing input and output during the product system stage
Ah yes they are elementary flows -- so if it's by intention how can the impact be calculated/modeled?
Thanks Andreas.
Thanks Andreas.
