Location of DB
Hello, I have recently updated to OpenLCA 1.6 from 1.5. I edited the openlca.ini file to indicate my DBs location, using -olcaDatDir followed by c:\folder\subfolder\openLCA-data-1.4\databases But openLCA fails to display my DBs when started. Any reason for that? Thank you. Best regards, Romain Updat...

Re: Equivalence between Simapro and OpenLCA substances
Hello again, the csv files ES1_COMPARTMENTS and ES1_ELEM_FLOWS avilable from the OpenLCA converter partly answered my question. Yet, I find many substances from a Simapro CSV export that do not have equivalent in the EcoSpold v1 substances list. How does the converter proceed in such case? Thank you...

Equivalence between Simapro and OpenLCA substances
Hello,
I wanted to know if there was a substances list to use in order to convert the names given by Simapro for the EcoInvent substances to be used by OpenLCA.
For example, Simapro has the substance "Zinc omadine", what would be the equivalent in OpenLCA?
Best regards, Romain

Re: incomplete Impact 2002+ (midpoint) methodology
Hello,
Has there been any progress regarding the availability of the IMPACT2002+ midpoint method as a downloadable EcoSpold or .zolca file?
The IMPACT2002+ method as imported from Nexus for EcoInvent 3.2 is still incomplete, with the only two above-mentioned mid-point indicators.
Best regards,
Romain

Convert impact characterization method file formats
Hello, I just edited this topic. Are there any existing solutions to convert a Simapro-CSV file containing a method, into an OpenLCA compatible EcoSpold file format? Solutions such as proposed by the EcoInvent's EcoEditor and the OpenLCA seem to concern only processes, not methods :-/ Thanks for the...

Export results to Excel
Hello,
I just wanted to notify that on the Beta version, the export of the results of an analysis to Excel fails often since the matrix is limited to 16384 columns (limitation based on Excel 2007) and will fail if the system has more columns than that.
BR,
Romain

OpenLCA 1.5 is great, but issue with global parameters
Hello the OpenLCA team,
I am trying out the new OpenLCA 1.5, and it is a great improvement. I like it very much.
Yet, I noticed that I could not find out how to add/delete global parameters...
I can't see the buttons.
Best regards,
Romain

Re: Monte Carlo analysis stopped
Hello Andreas, thanks for the heads-up. Ok, I understand. So, I chose not to kill it, hoping the window would pop up at the end of the 5000 iterations, but did not. It just disappeared from the task manager, silently. No, it's fine, I can wait for the public release, but I am extremeley looking forw...
