Just read my post, I suppose I wasn't really clear on my question, which is this. Which of the impact categories if any, is best at calculating the embodied energy for a product system? Carbon seems to be straight forward enough but energy less so!

Impact Assessment for Energy
Hi,
Creating an LCA for a tidal energy plant and would like to calculate embodied energy associated with such. I am using version 1.4 and have downloaded the free databases from nexus. I have the impact categories which were included with them.

Working on the Sellerpark tutorial and just wondering where the parameters are entered in relation to
"mowingarea", "mowingsperyear", "groundhole" etc... as well as they're respective formula values such
