Re: How to delete/remove a hidden element in the openLCA structure?

Hi Andreas, Thanks for your prompt reply of my question. Unfortunately I do not have any version of SQL server installed on my PC. Also, I have no experience about working with that developer tool. So, I think it will take me hours to use the coding approach. Furthermore, I use the openLCA v.1.4 for...

How to delete/remove a hidden element in the openLCA structure?

When working in openLCA environment frequently I have to delete elements (flows, processes, product systems) created by me. Deleting requires attention as the elements are linked among themselves, and the deletion process is time consuming. Recently I met a problem and I can’t solve still it. I hope...

Negative values (amounts) of inputs and outputs flows

Hi users and Moderator of openLCA, I post again the questions on the negative values (amounts) of inputs and outputs flows given in the ready-made processes of databases ( ELCD, ecoinvent , etc.). There are elementary, product and waste flows with negative values for some process data sets of the ab...

Re: Is it possible to restore deleted process from a database?

Hi Andreas, Thanks for your replies, and please, let me ask little bit more on the problem of restoring deleted elements of openLCA , based on your replies: a) The process that was deleted by me had been is an unmodified ELCD process. If I re-import the entire ELCD database over the existing openLCA...

Is it possible to restore deleted process from a database?

Hi to all, Unfortunately, I deleted by mistake a process from the ELCD database category “Processes/Materials production/Metals and semimetals”. As the model I’m creating is not completed yet and I need to use the deleted process, my question is how to restore it. And something more: Is it possible ...

Re: What do the negative values of flows mean?

Hi openLCA users, I try to create a waste process and for that purpose I decided to use a process included in the database (elcd_3_1_greendelta_v2). The process is “Landfill of municipal solid waste, ES, GR, PT technology mix, at landfill site,…”. It resides in Processes\ End-of-life treatment\Landf...

Re: Dependent parameters - What are they?

Hi Andreas, thank you for your second reply of the topic. I understood the meaning of “dependent” parameter and its usage. But, please, let me ask you one more question because you wrote: “in version 1.4 and higher there are also parameters for processes, product systems, LCIA methods, and global par...

Re: Dependent parameters - What are they?

Thank you Andreas,
From your reply I understand that in openLCA 1.4.x and higher versions exist only global parameters. If that is true, it means that every parameter (defined in the latest versions) is a global parameter and must have an unique name.
Best regards.
