Hello Andreas,
I understand what you said. The problem is when a result of MC is a negative value...how it could be possible? What is the meaning of a negative impact category?
Thank you for your time and your help.

Re: Negative values in the Ecoinvent 3.1 database
Hi Andreas,
thank you for your reply. The problem is that it is difficult to interpreter and discuss the results of Monte Carlo Simulation when we have for a given category 0.55 as quick result and -16 with a standard deviation of 130 from the montecarlo. What do you think?

Negative values in the Ecoinvent 3.1 database
Hello, I am using the Ecoinvent Database 3.1 obtained from nexus-openlca website. I would like to know why some values in processes (for example the process "fuel cell production, stack polymer electrolyte membrane, 2kW electrical, future, alloc. default, U - CH" for the input waste plastic, industr...

Re: Refresh product systems
Hi Andreas,
thank you for your reply, but I think that there is something that does not work correctly. I tried to make some changes in a process but when I reopen the product system the changes do not appear...please, could you verify?
Regards,
Salvatore

Refresh product systems
Hello, I'm using OpenLCA v. 1.4.1 beta 7 (Mac osx version), I would like to know if there is possible to refresh a product system (I remember that there was this possibility in the version 1.3). Is it necessary to delete the product system and create it again to include changes in the processes? Tha...

ecoinvent and methods with normalization factors
Hi, is there a way to import ecoinvent 3.1 (zolca file from nexus) in the database containing the methods with normalisation and weighting factors (from http://www.openlca.org/download_page)?
Thank you for helping!

exchange database between versions 1.3.4 and 1.4
Hi, I want to know if it is possible to exchange data between the versions 1.3.4 and 1.4 (beta 3). I have a database with many personal processes and system products, but I'm not able to export my database into a compatible format for 1.4. The version 1.3.4 exports the database in .olca but the 1.4 ...

Monte Carlo Analysis
Hi, I'm trying to learn about the Monte Carlo Analysis in OpenLCA. As an example I used the Ecoinvent process, "corn, at farm (US)" and I performed the Monte Carlo Simulation with the CML 2001 method and 1000 iterations. I have some questions: a) The mean values are slightly different from the "norm...
